If young people are
working through this -it works at its best when an adult
(parent, teacher, or leader) guides them through it.
Allow the student to take the journey (assign sections)
alone so that the Lord can minister it in a personal
way. Then bring them back to interpret or bring your
comments or additional teaching and examples to
reinforce the principles in the section you are
covering.
Some of the stories work like parables, planting seeds
in the heart. When it is time, the Holy Spirit will
bring them to life and manifestation. The material is
illustrated, but some of the concepts are not readily
and fully clear, which is why I recommend discussions
with those more spiritually mature.
The material gives participants something they can
actually take to the streets and to their homes that
will improve their quality of life. They will gain a
better understanding of the wiles of the devil and walk
away knowing who their real enemy is.
Just reading the skits and exercises bring new
perspectives. Obviously, they are more fun and
effective if used as instructed. |
