I thought she was
just being nice in asking to see it. I think she
thought she was too. She thought that she was going to
thumb through the finished copy, but she was compelled
to begin to read it. She called a few hours later and
said, “Mom, I read through the page where you introduce
the Holy Spirit, and I was so emotional I had to stop
reading”. I said, “Is that a good thing?” She said,
“Yes, it will be”. The next day when we talked, it was
as if she was a different person.
2 Kings 7:1 THEN ELISHA said, Hear the
word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord: Tomorrow about
this time a measure of fine flour will sell for a shekel
and two measures of barley for a shekel in the gate of
Samaria! AMP
This passage in 2
Kings was at a time when Samaria and its inhabitants
were in dire straights. Then Elisha comes and says –“by
this time tomorrow things are going turn around
totally”. We hear this, and we want to believe it, but
it seems too good to be true.
While I knew (to a
degree) that this workbook would powerfully affect many
people, I had no idea that it first work so powerfully
in my own daughter in just the first few pages. “By this
time tomorrow” was reduced to about 10 hours later. The
next morning she began seeing breakthroughs in her home.
She was literally seeing things in an “about face” way.
Things I had told her for years suddenly became so
obvious. She began to share revelation that she was
seeing. She talked about things that she had not read
and I had not shared. I was astounded. She said, "Mom,
it is as if the information is being downloaded on a
high-speed connection”. Her children began acting
differently toward one another and toward her.
I was absolutely
blown away. I will quickly share some of the background
that adds to the astounding miracle. Last year, my
daughter was almost killed in a car accident; she was in
the midst of the recovery process when her children’s
father died suddenly. A number of other events in the
last few years have left her entire family extremely
traumatized.
Another amazing thing is that for several months she has
been unable to focus. She has had problems being able
to read because she has been having severe problems with
her eyes. Yet she had no trouble with her eyes while
reading the book.
The Father is so
faithful to confirm His word with signs following. He
is indeed doing a quick work in his people. |
