Computers Don't Speak English

Does your computer have you talking to it? I don't mean by way of a speech recognition feature. I have been there and done that. I don't know what language it understands, but I am sure it is not English. How much time have you spent with tech people who might as well be speaking Greek as far as you are concerned. How about those tutorials? Reading or understanding them is like trying to decipher a doctor's instructions and signature on a prescription pad. I know it really bytes doesn't it? Not to mention wading out into the deep space on the Internet. Reminds you of being in a bottomless ocean doesn't it?

A Mind Of Their Own

You can make a seemingly stubborn computer do what you want. Regardless of what you think, those little buggers do not have a mind of their own. . They do however use logic but not our kind. Once we are finished you will be able to speak computer Greek.

Scratching your head?

Have you ever attended a fast-paced class and left scratching your head? Classroom settings are not conducive to some learners – especially right-brain ones. They seem to hit the high points and leave us with BYTES of information feeling GIGA confused.

Customized Training Session

Don’t sit through another class covering everything –focus on what you really want to know! See the overview for the entire list of software course. The private session curriculum is entirely up to you. Learn at your pace - stay with it until you know it! If you feel it will take several sessions, you may want to plan ahead and save money through the multiple session discount.

PCA offers structured 2 hour training sessions in a computer lab at I-30 and Bobtown in Garland. The computer lab is provided by Power Quest Dallas. PCA is offering a limited number of the many courses at this time. Go to the the courses page for a COMPLETE LIST or go to the SCHEDULE for dates and courses available.

Working At Your PACE

Although many of the courses are designed for a 2 hour classroom setting -PCA cannot not provide a time estimate since variables exist at other locations.

The idea is to stay with you until you feel comfortable with the material. It may be that a single session may not cover everything or you may discover that you can complete a course and a half in a one-on-one situation. Remember we are working at your pace.
