Glenda re-entered the
Publishing Industry in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in the Mid-1990s
after having published a newspaper in the Central Texas Area in the Mid
1980s. Creativity and writing surface in everything she does. Glenda has
used her writing and design gifts in all facets of her profession and
ministries. Arts/graphics, design, and creative writing play a major role
in which she is today. God has blessed Glenda with a unique gift, which
allows her to move into the hearts and minds of others taking with her
the wealth of knowledge, which enables her to see from other’s perspectives.
This gift has been valuable in all facets of her career and personal life.
This quality is especially effective and helpful in her writing and design
skills.
While Glenda ministers her art in Christian gatherings, she
is also called to the marketplace.
She is highly recognized
in the marketplace as a consumer advocate.
God has blessed her with
gifts of insight, discernment, and teaching… While reflecting the heart
of God for the moment she challenges people to a higher level of faith
and expectation of God’s Plan for their lives.
In 2001, Glenda began
a new Journey …Renderings of the Heart ™ ...a collection of illustrations
inspired by dreams, revelation, life experiences, and observations. Glenda
had not previously done art and has had no formal training. The Holy Spirit
works through her to create pieces straight from the heart of God. 9/11
truly influenced her move into the arena of illustrated revelation. She
keeps her eyes on the political arena. She also has a deep love for her
country and seeing it restored to the intent of the founding fathers.
Some of her achievements and involvements:
She has backgrounds in
building, real estate brokerage and the lending industry. She was named
in “Who’s Who in Creative Real Estate”.
While president of Women Aglow, she and her group orchestrated Lake Cities
Youth 2000, an outreach which provided a platform and exposure for local-unknown
talented Christian Youth. The mayor of Rockwall, Texas proclaimed that
day “Lake Cities Youth 2000 Day”.
She assisted in planning The Texas Ten Commandments Rally at the Dallas
Convention Center. She created the art (banners, bumper stickers, T-shirts
and other pieces) for Concerned Americans in Action who was one of the
sponsors. The Texas Ten Commandment Rally Committee commissioned her to
create art for two of the guest speakers …Justice Roy Moore and Ambassador
Alan Keyes.
She was on the planning committee for the North Texas Freedom Rally. The
rally celebrated the Freedom that our founding fathers earned and the
Troops that are at this moment working to retain. She did much of the
writing, created their logo, art, and website.
