Unfolding a Life

Whether unfolding a life
or a rosebud, it is a supernatural process. Man’s hand must not touch it
for it is a precious and delicate thing of beauty.
Wisdom, understanding and
revelation reside in The Secret Place. Our times are in His hand. We must
live in the Secret Place, always ready and available for Him to unfold the
next petal …for He alone knows when it is ready. Each petal unfolding is a
unique sight and wonder to behold …destined to be witnessed and enjoyed by
certain people in certain places. This supernatural process reveals His
loving-kindness, wisdom and glory. See the tenderness with which He
handles each intricate and precious petal, careful not to harm a single
one. Not only is he concerned with our life but those whose lives are to
be influenced by ours. The unfolding releases a certain fragrance that is
to bring healing, hope and encouragement to those around us. We know not
which petal is ordained for which time or season so we rest in Him
trusting that He has known the end from the beginning.
UNFOLDING THE ROSEBUD

It
is only a tiny rosebud, a flower of God's design.
But I cannot unfold the petals with these clumsy hands of mine.
The secret of unfolding flowers is not known to such as I.
GOD opens this flower so sweetly when in my hands they fade and die.
If I cannot unfold a rosebud this flower of God's design.
Then how can I think I have wisdom to unfold this life of mine?
So I'll trust in Him for His leading each moment of every day.
I will look to Him for His Guidance each step of the pilgrim way.
The pathway that lies before me only my heavenly Father knows.
I'll trust Him to unfold the moments, just as He unfolds the rose. |
